The NCAA: How it’s Making Athletes Money

Aarav Patel, Age 11

Over the past few years as unseen prospects the sports world has never seen before, ongoing arguments crowded sports shows during the off-season about if college athletes, who are not professionals yet, be able to earn potentially millions of if their names. Now that the act has passed, stars like Justin Fields (Ohio State football player) that are popular get a pay check early. Many top athletes come from poverty, homelessness and unsafe communities, so it will help them out if their situation.

Times might be changing for the good.        However, don’t be fooled by these acts for the good. The world is filled with war, prejudice, nasty disease, hatred, and CO2. Together we can halt this, by doing so little. You see, there is 7.6 billion of us here, all guilty of doing something wrong, wether it’s major or minor. It may not seem like a big deal, but it all adds up. By doing good for others and the planet, we can start to erase what we did wrong, we can subtract huge amounts of harm.

We have a huge opportunity to  create a better planet for all of us. We can’t miss it. Be aware of your carbon footprint, and reduce it as much as you can. Even if you have no symptoms of COVID-19, you may be asymptomatic. Wear a mask 😷 in public. You may spare a life if you do. Treat each other fairly, and be nice. That is key to curing the world.
